About Allison McClintick
Allison McClintick is a Leader Development Specialist and the CEO of FlightLead, a veteran owned leadership training company based out of Lansing, Michigan.
A television actor in a former life, Allison has a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from the University of San Diego, ranked one of the top ten schools for the study of leadership as a science. She has been extensively trained and certified by the Center for Creative Leadership in LaJolla, California and has earned a certificate in Decision Quality and Biases in Decision Making through Stanford University.
Truly a sought after expert in her field, Allison’s true appeal is in her experience working for and with the military; as a Readiness and Deployment Support trainer, Allison has worked with thousands of Marines and their command team’s managing the constant ebb and flow of deployment in the time of war, and she counts receiving the wounded from Afghanistan as one of the most impactful experiences of her life. Allison has completed research in leadership as a counter insurgency method in Afghanistan concerning civil/military relations; reintegrating combat veterans presenting with TBI and PTSD; the efficacy of leadership amongst enlisted ranks in air and ground combat elements and even spent three months with Iraqi refugees in El Cajon, California learning about global culture.
A former single mother with a burning purpose to contribute, Allison moved to San Diego on a wing and a prayer to start a journey into the leadership world and to achieve personal and professional success. Marrying an active duty Marine brings her back to her roots in Michigan, armed and ready to bring the experience, education and insight to her work as a professional speaker all across the nation.
Allison is the host of the radio show “The Leadership Low Down” on the Michigan Business Network, a regular blogger for CoSozo.com and releasing her first leadership book in 2014.
